Every year London Fashion Week (LFW) dazzles the British capital for five days. Now in its new home in The Store Studios on the Strand, it’s time to look back at the trends and influences behind the collections and how this can translate to what you may want to wear come next Autumn Winter.
Bold and romantic florals
While florals are not unusual in spring and summer, it is a little more edgy for winter. Plenty of designers, such as Preen, Erdem and Christopher Kane had bold floral prints at their shows. For AW 17, the delicacy of the spring prints have gone and it is all about strong style botanicals with a vintage edge.
Be ahead of the game and shop our Vintage Botanics Collection. The collection was inspired by the natural colour we see in plants and flowers across the globe.

Cowboy boots and Stetsons graced the catwalk at Henry Holland. It was back in the 90s that the cowboy look was big and it looks set to make a comeback. The fashion house didn’t just use boots and hats to reference the Wild West – he collated a whole mixture of references from the Western territory.
Invoke your inner cowboy with these Ipanema square drop earrings that are reminiscent of a deep desert sunset.
Chunky jumpers worn over delicate slip dresses were popular across the runways with Topshop and Peter Pilotto leading the trend. It was not only these top designers who were showing-off this look but quite a few fashion editors too – meaning that this trend is due to be huge.
