Lola Rose is seeking a dynamic and resourceful merchandiser.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with senior members of the design, wholesale, web and retail team to deliver sales and margin across all categories and channels, through effective inventory management.
- To participate in the planning and execution of the seasonal buying function compiling historical data and interpreting trading patterns to provide a strong analytical basis to positively impact forward planning decisions.
- Planning and phasing of seasonal collections and margin projections in line with stock intake.
- Controlling Open To Buy in accordance with the above
- Responsible for managing margin and impact of promotional activity across all channels
- To create a merchandise allocation strategy that maximises the use of inventory.
The Candidate:
- At least 3 years merchandising in a similar role and a broad commercial awareness developed in a fast moving environment, preferably a department store or fashion retailer.
- The ability to clearly define the critical issues and deliver positive results.
- Self motivated and enthusiastic with a strong desire to succeed.
- Excellent I.T Skills and an advanced working knowledge of Excel is essential
-Ideally educated to a degree level within an analytically based discipline.
